William Foster

Born in Govan, Glasgow, William moved south to look for work in 1974, and found himself working in a factory, where he remained for forty-five years. Since retiring in 2019, he spends his days gardening and walking the dog; this relaxed and peaceful existence gave him the time to redress priorities, and he found himself writing poems whilst walking the dog. Although the poems started out just as a bit of fun, and largely relating to family, they’ve taken on a life of their own.
