Alyson Smith works as an administrator in a Nursing Home in Newcastle upon Tyne. Alongside this she has recently completed an MA in Creative Writing though the Open University, and is working on her first collection of short stories. Alyson has a long-standing Bipolar diagnosis and a recent diagnosis of Level 1 Autism, which has helped her to understand why she doesn’t always see the world as others do.
