Steve Baggs is a poet and writer who was born in Deal in Kent and now lives in Canterbury. He has been published in several poetry magazines and is putting together his first collection of poetry. He has previously won a Co-Op Poetry Festival prize, and has performed his poetry across the country – including when he was once arrested for an impromptu poetry reading as part of a teenage guerrilla poetry night. Thankfully, it was all a misunderstanding! He enjoys writing haiku and has contributed to the Time Haiku magazine, and recently won second prize for a haibun he wrote as part of a Time Haiku competition. Steve is currently writing a memoir about playing village cricket. He is delighted to be contributing to this excellent poetry anthology.
