Raina Muriithi is a young adult who writes about the unheard black experience. She grew up in Cambridgeshire for most of her life, apart from six years spent living in Tanzania. She is fluent in both English and Swahili. In her free time she knits, watches rom-coms and writes poetry about being Black and middle class and about the beauty of being Black and British. She has Kenyan heritage, of which she is extremely proud and passionate. Her favourite authors include Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Sophie Kinsella.
