Ginger has loved poetry ever since discovering Dr Seuss’s Yertle the Turtle in childhood. She adores reading, writing, listening to and performing poetry and prose and was delighted to enrol on an English degree and go to university in her late forties. She was less delighted when the pandemic meant she had to shield for over half of the degree, but still had an amazing time studying remotely with her fantastic fellow students and wonderful lecturers. She gained a First and was able to stop shielding in time for the most brilliant graduation day ever!
