Ewa Gerald Onyebuchi is a Nigerian writer of Igbo descent. His writings – short stories and poems – aim at addressing topics related to the body, sexuality and feminism, with Africa as the focal point. An alumnus of Osiri University 2021 Creative Writing Masterclass taught by Professor Chigozie Obioma, he was shortlisted in 2020 for the Ibua Continental Call, was a finalist for the Spring 2021 Starlight Award for Poetry and was longlisted for the 2022 AUB International Poetry Prize.
