Born and raised in India, Vijaya Venkatesan went to university in the UK. She has an LL.M in International Law from Cambridge University and has spent her professional life in the public sector. She has been longlisted for the National Poetry Competition and won the Charm Poetry competition. The abiding love of her life is Liverpool Football Club. She lives in London.
