Damon Young is a winner of the Alzheimer’s Society Poetry Prize. He has also been shortlisted for the Wells Festival of Literature Poetry Prize, The Robert Graves Poetry Prize, The Brian Dempsey Memorial Poetry Prize, The Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year and The Welshpool Poetry Prize. His first short collection Family Room was published in 2020.
