Damon Runyon

Damon Runyon (1880–1946) was an American journalist and short-story writer, best remembered today for his short stories, especially ‘The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown’ and ‘Blood Pressure’, which formed the basis of the hit musical Guys and Dolls.
