In All Ten Marilyns and Other Stories some of life’s odder surprises are in store for a broad cast of the wayward, the travelling, the reclusive and the offbeat, who are thrust together, shoulders rubbing across the ages…

A commuter struggles to understand the puzzling calls he’s getting as he travels home by train; a photographer discovers a lost batch of photographs he once took in a magazine in a dentist’s waiting room; a couple who like role-playing at wartime-themed weekends begin to blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

Jostling subjects comedic and dark, All Ten Marilyns is a compelling debut collection from an accomplished writer. Often playful, sometimes ironic, but always sympathetic to human frailty, these are tales that shall never be forgot.
