Samah Alnuaimi was born in Iraq. Unfortunately, during the Iraq War she had to leave because it was no longer safe. Her family moved to Syria, and from there to England, where they settled in Bradford. Samah credits these experiences as developing her passion for poetry, which became a form of escape, and a way to express herself and clear my mind. She is currently studying to become an interpreter, and hopes to study law, a subject she finds extremely interesting.
